Over her life Patti enjoyed a range of unique interests. She was an avid tennis player for several years and was passionate about competitive obedience dog training during her time in Massachusetts and New Jersey. Her life-long love for the arts, particularly glass, resulted in a unique and extensive art glass collection. Her keen eye for beauty also extended to horticulture. Patti became an enthusiastic gardener and created an extensive, beautiful, and colorful garden that surrounded their home in Charlevoix, Michigan. She not only worked in the Charlevoix Area Garden Club but served as a trustee for The Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey, Michigan.
After moving to Naples, Florida she became very involved in fundraising for The Shelter for Abused Women & Children.
