Peter was born on July 12, 1960, in Tallahassee, Florida, to the late Patricia and Andrew Walsh. He lived a life defined by quiet strength, hard work, and a deep love for his family, especially for his son, Noah, who was the center of his world.
Peter was a true wanderer at heart, not just of places, but of ideas, experiences, and connections. He never settled for the ordinary and was always searching for something just beyond the horizon. This restless spirit made him a lifelong learner and an adventurer in everyday moments.
His life was less about staying rooted in one spot and more about embracing the journey itself, moving through life with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to discover new paths.
Peter found peace and joy in the quiet rhythm of the ocean, often starting his days with a swim in the cool morning waters. Those moments of solitude and calm were a special part of his life, a time to reflect, recharge, and connect with the world around him.
In recent years, Peter’s life took on a deeper spiritual dimension. He returned to his Catholic faith with sincerity and devotion, finding comfort, guidance, and purpose in his renewed relationship with God. That faith moved him to spend more of his time in service to others - volunteering at his parish, supporting community causes, and helping those in need.
Peter had a calm presence, a dry and thoughtful wit, and a heart that understood what really mattered. He valued people over things, moments over milestones. He lived simply, gave freely, and loved deeply.
He is survived by his only son, Noah Pallotta-Walsh, who carries forward Peter’s strength and gentle heart. In addition, Peter leaves his six siblings and their spouses and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, John.
A celebration of Peter’s life will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10 AM at St. Oscar Romero Parish, 700 Washington Street, Canton, MA 02021 followed by a burial service at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 3 Randolph Street, Canton, MA. 02021.

Though he is no longer with us, Peter’s love, values, and spirit live on in his son, family, friends and in the lives of all who were lucky enough to know him.
