Robert "Bob" Foley

Robert "Bob" Foley, age 81, of Quincy, MA, passed away on May 12, 2026, in Naples, FL. He was born in Quincy, MA to Marie Larkin and Leonard Foley on February 15, 1945. Bob attended Archbishop Williams High School and graduated from the University of Massachusetts.

He married Freda Chakar on September 21, 1974, in Torrington, CT. For many years, he managed the South Boston Social Club for his family and also served as the Beverage Manager at the Park Plaza Hotel. Bob retired from Continental/United Airlines and was a Director of Puritan Travel alongside his wife. He was actively involved in CCD education at St. John Church in Quincy, MA.

Bob enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of the Patriots and the Red Sox. For 51 years, he traveled extensively with his wife. Throughout their journey, they embarked on countless adventures together, creating a lifetime of cherished memories side by side.

Bob is preceded in death by AnnMarie Foley, Gerald Foley, Janice Giblin, Susan Desantis and Richard Foley.

He is survived by Freda Foley; Leonard Foley; Kevin and Kathy Foley; Kathleen Milley; John and Cathy Foley; Marybeth and Jack Remai; Christina and Dominic Damata. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, close family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on May 29, 2026, at 11:30 AM. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the Mass, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, at the following location: Sacred Heart Church - 386 Hancock Street, North Quincy, MA 02171
