Shovondia was born February 18, 1988 to Sheila Wortham and Tancrede St. Vil in Naples, Florida
Shovondia was an angel in every sense of the word: Her presence lit up any room she entered; love flowed not only through her speech but her actions; her warmth lifted any mood; and a flair of elegance accompanied her radiant style.
Shovondia will be remembered by her ear-to-ear smile, her infectious laughter, unwavering wit, her unapologetic honesty wrapped in a sense of humor, and a love that engulfed the masses.
Shovondia is preceded in death by her ideal and role model, her grandmother Dorothy Nell Beedles Graham; grandfather, Eddie Prince Graham; and great aunt, Reven Joyce Whitfield. Shovondia’s legacy will be succeed by her 5 siblings whom she loved deeply, Clairmil St. Vil, Claircia Saintil, Eddie St. Vil, Junior St. Vil, and Heboyskay St. Vil; a host of nieces and nephews, and extended family to include aunts, uncles and cousins.
Shovondia had dreams of being a psychologist and working with at-risk minority women. She was well on her way of achieving that goal as a Master’s student in the Nova Southeastern Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.
Our family would like to thank you for your well wishes, condolences, and kind words during this period of mourning. We ask that you keep our family in your prayers. Similarly, we ask that you find a piece of Shovondia and identify ways you can reflect her throughout your life. Please tell your stories far and wide to allow Shovondia’s legacy to live forever.
