I didn’t personally know Rita or her husband, but they were close to my father. They were always so supportive of our family owned restaurant and truly seemed like wonderful people. I wish you both eternal peace.

This was a great time with her, husband and some friends at Oyster Society and my husband was talking with Stephan went we took that picture.  I remember like it was yesterday

Steph was my first and best friend when I moved to Rockland County 60 years ago. We had a great friendship and the most awesome childhood. I will never forget all the great times we had together, and all the laughs. There were many . Rest is peace and eternal happiness my old friend

Steph and I were friends for over 40 years we traveled to Washington to attend the Police Memorial back in the early 90. We always stayed in touch. In December of 2022 we met in Florida and had lunch together. He was an incredible brother and friend, as well as Rita. May you RIP on that highway in Heaven. 🙏🙏🙏👮‍♂️😔

Stephen and Rita were the most dynamic couple ever. They were loving and supportive during good times and bad.  We miss them very much and thank them for being who they were.  They will not be forgotten and will be always be in our hearts.

My sincere condolences to both families.  I am in shock and just heartbroken.  I don't think I ever met two people who were so much in love with one another, and who loved life as much as Rita and Stephan.  May God Bless you both and may your souls rest easy together in Heaven for eternity.  Thank you for the twinkle you put in my eye with your friendship.  I will always remember you both.
