Thomas Michael McMullin

He was born July 14, 1938 in Newton, MA the son of Philip Willis and Barbara Connolly McMullin.

Tom served his country in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. He graduated from Bentley University and began his career with Honeywell International where he was a Systems Analyst and then Systems Manager. Upon retirement Tom consulted for IBM and General Electric.

Tom, an avid golfer, was a member of the Honeywell Golf League. He hit a hole in one at the Sandy Burr Country Club, which is proudly registered in the World Golf Hall of Fame. When Tom resided in East Dennis he was a member of the Dennis Pines Golf Course.

Tom enjoyed sunsets and walking on East Dennis beaches. He was a long-standing member of the Hyannis Yacht Club and spent many memorable days sailing and boating with his wife and friends. Tom’s beautiful portrait drawings brought joy to many people.

While spending winters at his home in Naples, FL. Tom enjoyed the local surroundings and doing home projects. He especially enjoyed the festivities of the St. Patrick’s Day celebration and participating in the annual parade.

Tom loved life, and the laughter of others. Of his many passions, none brought him more joy than his beloved wife Claire. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Ann Ryan, Philip McMullin, Barbara McMullin, William McMullin, and John McMullin.

Tom is survived by his wife, Claire and siblings, Edwin McMullin of Osterville, MA, Mary Katherine Burns of Naples, FL, Paul McMullin of Waltham, MA, Carol Mazolla of Groton, MA, Patricia Wingfield of Northampton, MA; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, December 21, 2020 at St. William Catholic Church, 601 Seagate Ave, Naples, FL 34108. Inurnment will follow with military honors at 11:15 AM at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108.
