Albert Anthony Buuck, born on January 17, 1937, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on October 13, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Albert and Louise Oubre Buuck and brother of Raymond and Armand Buuck. He is survived by: his beloved wife of 57 years, Mildred Pontiff Buuck; his loving sons, Kirk (Nicole) and Eric Buuck; friend Paulette Frey; his adoring grandchildren, Erica, Jacob, Carly, and Caleb; and his lovable great-granddaughter, Ezra. He will also be missed by his loving dog, Daisy.
Mr. Buuck served in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1963.
He retired from the United States Army Corp of Engineers in 1994, after 30 years.
The family would like to give special thanks to St. Tammany Hospice, Dr. Delcham, Nurse Shannon, and Aide Amy. They are additionally grateful to the St. Tammany Hospital staff, with special thanks to Sheila.
Services will be private.
