Ann C. Moore

Ann C. Moore, a retired Radiology Technician, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the age of 84. She was born on October 12, 1941, in New Orleans. Beloved wife of 53 years to the late Robert Dennis (Denny) Moore. Daughter of the late Stanton Paul Chassaignac and Katherine O’Brien Chassaignac. Loving mother of Stanton Emery Moore (Lauren) and Matthew Dennis Moore (Jessica). Sister of Carol C. Watermeier, Mary C. Burks, Louis Riordan Chassaignac, and the late Katherine C. Martin, Elizabeth C. Leinhardt, and Stanton Paul Chassaignac, Jr. Adoring grandmother of Madelaine Ruth Vogel, Shelby Ann Moore, and Emery Rae Moore.

Ann received her Associate Degree in Radiology and was a graduate of Mercy Academy class of 1960. She was also a skilled seamstress who especially loved French hand sewing and crafting custom garments and dresses for her granddaughters and nieces. She loved cooking and enjoyed hosting an extended circle of friends and family at her Metairie home, where she and Denny resided for 48 years.

A visitation will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, located at 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, on February 4, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Lake Lawn Park, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Ochsner Baptist Attack Breast Cancer fund at https://www.ochsner.org/annmoore/
