Born on July 8, 1938, Audrey was the daughter of the late Vivian Habeney Duplantis and Joseph Adam Duplantis. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Gurtner, sister Barbara Addie Duplantis Baham, and brother-in-law Wilburt “Big Jim” Baham.
Audrey is survived by her nephew Joseph James Baham and wife Wendy Sable Berndt Baham; great nieces Dawn Angela Baham, Julie Baham Gallois (Ryann), Melody Baham Waltz (Shawn), great nephews Joseph Baham, Jr., Stephen Baham; seven great-great nephews and nieces; five great-great-great nephews and nieces and countless other loved ones.
She worked at the New Orleans International airport for over 30 years and enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. Audrey was not just an aunt; she was a second mother and confidante to her large extended family. She will always be remembered for her kind, welcoming, and feisty spirit, her unwavering support of those she loved, and her fiery red hair. As we say goodbye to Audrey, let us remember to love like Audrey loved Braves baseball, Chuck Norris, and desserts of all kinds.

A Christian blessing and Rite of Committal will take place at 2:00 pm at the family graveside site. We will meet in front of the Lake Lawn building at 1:30 pm and follow to the site.
