Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Marvin “Kenny” Abel, Jr., Kerry Abel, Sr., Wendy Vaccaro, and Robin Abel; her brothers, William Hutchison, Jr., Jack Hutchison, Sr., James Hutchison, Sr., and Philip Hutchison.
Betty is survived by her husband of 67 years, Marvin Kendrick Abel; her sister, Mary Hutchison Dichara (Benny); her brother, David Hutchison (Earline); her grandchildren, Bridget Hudson (Steven), Angel Ramos (Miguel), John Vaccaro IV (Crystal), Kerry Abel, Jr. (Erin), Vincent Vaccaro (Kellie), Virginia Fonseca (Sean), Christina Abel, Michael Abel, and Matthew Abel; her great-grandchildren, Brandon Ingram, Kerry Abel III, Hunter Vaccaro, Veronica Vaccaro, Harper Abel, and Ava Ramos; her son-in-law, John Vaccaro, III; her daughter-in-law, Virginia Abel, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty was a homemaker and a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church.
A private funeral service will be held for close family.
