Beverly Stieffel Babin

Beverly Stieffel Babin, at the age of 93 years, gained her wings and went to fly with the angels on June 29, 2021. She was born on November 27, 1927 in New Orleans. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Babin for 58 devoted years.

She was: the daughter of Eugene G. Stieffel and Leonie G. Stieffel; devoted mother to Elizabeth B. Boudreaux (Joseph), Eileen B. Philebar (Wayne), Robert A. Babin, II (Jackie), and Thomas J. Babin (Donna); sister to Patricia M. Stieffel, Raymond H. Stieffel, William A. Stieffel, the late Eugene C. Stieffel, and the late Calvin G. Stieffel; grandmother to nine grandchildren; great-grandmother to 17 great-grandchildren; great-great grandmother to two great-great-grandchildren; and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her love for her family and her love of cooking. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers, Eugene and Calvin Stieffel, whom she will be following into heaven.

Visitation will be held in her honor on Thursday, July 1st, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anselm Catholic Church in Madisonville, Louisiana at 306 St Mary St, Madisonville, LA 70447, with services to follow with Father Buddy Noel officiating. Interment will take place at Lake Lawn in New Orleans at 5100 Ponchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124.
