Bobbie Garrett Kikuchi passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015 following a long, courageous battle of defying the odds for several years. Beloved wife of the late Arthur M. Kikuchi. Mother of Sukie Chappuis (Mike), Edith Abernathy (David), Christine Abadie (Donald), and Michael Kikuchi. Grandmother of Christopher and Jonathan Chappuis, Megan and Connor Abernathy, Rebecca Green (Jeff), Rachel LeSage (Corey), Brennan, and Blake Abadie, Emily, Michael, and Matthew Kikuchi. Also survived by five great grandchildren.
Former parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi and employee of Camellia Grill. Bobbie spent her life as a friend and mother to many. Her never quit spirit and encouraging attitude were contagious to all those who knew her. A special thanks to the staff of Family Home Health and FMC Dialysis for the love and care provided to her and for making her life special.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 1:00 PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park.
