Brian L. Cleveland

Brian Leigh Cleveland, a Board Certified Chaplain at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, former New Orleans Police Chaplin passed away on June 2, 2018 at the age of 61. He was a native of Paris, France and grew up in Bossier City, LA. Dr. Cleveland received his PhD from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and was a member of Edgewater Baptist Church. He also served in the United States Army. Beloved husband and best friend of Ashley Nicole Cleveland for 5 years. Son of the late Joseph and Geri Cleveland. Loving father of Amelia Bryn Cleveland and the late Abigail Ruth. Brother of David (Carmelita) Cleveland. Brother-in-law of Anna Tidwell. Grandson of the late Walter and Lola Ginlee and Joseph and Ada Cleveland. Also survived by his in laws Phillip and Aimee Tidwell and his grand-in-laws Thomas and Janney Fleming. Dr. Cleveland is also survived by his brothers and sisters in blue.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at New Orleans Baptist Seminary, 3939 Gentilly Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be at the Seminary from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

A second line will begin at the Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
