Cecilia Berrill Jackson Fauries, age 75, of Belle Chasse, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Berrill was born on March 2, 1946 to the late Lloyd "Skinny" Jackson, Sr. and Cecilia "Celie" Louise Jackson.
Berrill is survived by her daughter Belinda F. Punch (Nickey); her grandson, Nicholas P. Punch, Jr. and her granddaughter, Nicole E. Punch. She is also survived by her siblings; Lloyd Jackson, Jr. (Mary), Margaret Jackson Palermo (Tony), and Michael Jackson (Rebecca).
Berrill was preceded in death by her husband Lionel Anthony Fauries, Sr.; her parents, and her sons, Lionel Anthony Fauries, Jr. and Michael J. Fauries.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home at 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00 AM. The inurnment will take place at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum following the Memorial Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Shrine of Blessed Francis X. Seelos.
