Cheryl Melito Chiasson

Beloved sister, mother and grandmother, Cheryl Melito Chiasson passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born on June 28, 1945, to Cyrus R. Melito Sr. and Dorothy Alessi Melito. She was preceded in death by her parents. Cheryl is survived by her brother, Cyrus Melito Jr. (Doris); son, Brett J. Chiasson (Chelsi); grandson, Rus Chiasson; granddaughters, Lia Chiasson and Carter Chiasson; nephew, Michael Melito; and great niece, Gia Melito. Cheryl graduated from Saint Anthony of Padua Grammar School, Sacred Heart High School, LSUNO undergraduate with a degree in accounting and Loyola University with a masters degree in accounting. She retired from New Orleans Aviation Board after dedicating nearly her entire work history. Services held included immediate family only.
