Clyde Joseph "C.J." Reou

Beloved son of Al Reou and Emelda Heckel Reou. He will sadly be missed by all who loved him, especially his devoted sisters, Emelda Reou Guggenheim (Bill) and Myra Reou Lutz (Jim). Beloved by many nieces and nephews, Dana Bennett (David), Daryl Lynn DaBella (Paul), Duff Guggenheim (Kacy), Meredith Godoi (Rodrigo), Monica Grimes (Hunter), and Melanie Chinchilla. Also grand-nieces and nephews, Abbey, Matthew, Katie, Maggie, Brennan, Olivia, Maddix, Macie and Sarah.

He was employed by National Food Company/Canal Villiere from an early age and retired in 1995. In 1988, National Food Company awarded him “Manager of the Year” with a trip to the 1988 Winter Olympics in Seoul, Korea.

Services will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans. On Wednesday, January 30, 2019, relatives and friends may visit at 9:30 a.m., a Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. by Father Chris DeLerno of St. Mary Magdalen Church. Interment will be in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
