Colette Mayeux, 62, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014. Colette was born October 27, 1951 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is survived by one daughter, Meredith (Jay) Heimsoth of Spring, Texas, grandchildren, Avalon Mayeux, Von Jay, Loudon Jay, her parents, Paul and Juanita Mayeux of Slidell, Louisiana, one sister, Diane (Tobin) Englet and one brother, Stephen (Patty) Mayeux. Colette is further survived by nieces, Rebecca (Paul) Gray, Jessica (Mike) Frechette and nephews, Duncan Hasell and Stephen Hasell and great niece, Lydia Gray and nephew Nathan Gray.
Colette was a loving mother and proud grandmother, known for her joie de vivre and exquisite style.
Visitation for Colette will be Saturday August 16, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Ponchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, Louisiana, with Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
