Cristobal R. Rugama Nuñez passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Amelia Maison Rugama; daughters Carmen Maria Rugama Wisinski (Mike) and Maria E. Rugama Chedid (Rabih); grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Cristobal is preceded in death by his son Cristobal J. Rugama Maison; parents and siblings. Cristobal was a Civil Engineer. Former Minister of Public Works of Nicaragua, former Director of The Department of Agriculture of Nicaragua (IAN), former Director of The Institute of Cartography of Nicaragua, and former Director of Geodesy of Nicaragua. He was also a professor of Civil Engineering at The National University of Nicaragua for several years.Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015.
