

Cynthia was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Heather Marie Nauck and her parents, Joann and Frank Giorlando; as well as her father-in-law William E Nauck, Sr., mother-in-law Anita Kothe Castello, and sister-in-law Carmen Diane Vitrano.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Robert Joel Nauck, Sr.; her five children, Robert Joel Nauck, Jr., Rayne Jocelyn “Ryan Joseph” Nauck, Ross Jeremy Nauck (Kristen), Emily Theresa Nauck (William Padilla), and Ryley Jacob Nauck; her grandson, Kellan Oliver Nauck; her three siblings, Ann Giorlando Genovese (Michael), Frank Anthony Giorlando, Jr. (Ronda), and Joseph Paul Giorlando (Janet); her brothers and sisters-in-law, William E Nauck II (Janet), Michael L Nauck (Karen), Steven M Nauck (Judy), Debbie Nauck Bordelon (Steve), David A Nauck, Donald S Nauck (Karen), Darryl W Nauck (Debbie), Chris E Nauck (Tammy), Missy L Nauck Hymel (Stephen); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cynthia was born in New Orleans on June 26, 1959, and graduated from Dominican High School, class of 1977. She attended Dominican College and UNO. She began her career at the young age of 14 working in her father’s grocery store, Giorlando’s, at Metairie Road and Bonnabel. Later, she went on to work with Sav-A-Center and Rouses.
Cynthia was a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. She was an avid reader and huge fan of Marvel and Star Wars. She loved scrapbooking and spending time with her grandson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 6425 W. Metairie Ave. in Metairie, on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 10:30AM. A visitation will be held at the church beginning at 8:30AM. The interment will follow the Mass in Metairie Cemetery.
