Dalton Raymond Norman was born March 1, 1996, in New Orleans, LA, to David and Deanna Norman, his loving and supportive parents. Dalton had a passion for learning and computer sciences. After graduating from Holy Cross High in 2014, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2016 from the University of New Orleans. Dalton decided to further his education and enrolled in the UNO Computer Science Masters Program. While working towards his Master's, he was employed as a Software Developer and Cybersecurity Researcher.
Dalton was known for his wit and his fun-loving attitude. Whether he was flying his drone, enjoying a day with friends at the paintball range, or meticulously debugging some code; Dalton had a natural drive to explore and improve the world around him. He was especially known for his warmth for others and animals, as he always kept his heart and space open to a new friend, furry or not.
Dalton will be remembered for his fierce intelligence, logical thinking, and bountiful soul. His passing will be deeply mourned by all who knew him, yet Dalton’s memory will live in our hearts and minds. His family and friends are inspired to honor Dalton’s legacy of exploration and improvement, to which he modeled throughout his life.
Dalton leaves behind his parents, David and Deanna; siblings, Davey and Lexy; grandmother, Catherine; two cats, Binky and Kit; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
