Darius Steven McNair

Mr. Darius Steven McNair was born on April 28, 1986, in Gretna, Louisiana to Mr. Harold andMrs. Ellen McNair. Darius lived in New Orleans most of life and resided in Houston, Texas, until his time of death. He was 29 years of age. He accepted Christ as his personal Saviour at an early age and was baptized at St. Joseph the Worker in Marrero, Louisiana. He attended and graduated from John Ehret High School of Marrero, Louisiana. He was very friendly and enjoyed socializing with anyone and loved travelling. He could always make you laugh. He worked at Louisiana Specialty until the business closed its doors in 2012. He then moved to Houston, Texas, where he worked at St. Joseph Psychiatric Hospital until death. Darius leaves to cherish his memories his domestic partner: Alex McDonald, Houston, Texas; father, Harold McNair, Sr. and mother, Ellen McNair both of Harvey, LA; brother, Harold McNair, Jr. of New Orleans, LA; and sister, Montoya Barker(Richard)of Indianapolis, IN. He leaves to cherish his memories a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. A Visitation will be held from 10 -12 noon on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans ,LA, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home.
