Delina Landini Ricks

Delina Landini Ricks peacefully passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016, at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late Frank L. Ricks for over 35 years. Beloved daughter of the late Paul and Antonietta B. Landini. Sister of the late Lena L. Voinche, John A. Landini, Paul E. Landini, and Alvin A. Landini. Aunt of Ann V. Jesclard, Nathalie V. Kussmaul (James), Hollie L. Psulger (Louis), Patricia L. McCormick and the late Alvin J. Landini. She is also survived by many grand-nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews. Born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for over 50 years. Delina was an active member in her community, she belonged to many organizations. She loved working in her garden and dancing, especially with the “Round Dancers” of Metairie Senior Center, who danced at many of the nursing homes in Jefferson. Our sincerest thanks to the staff of Notre Dame Hospice and Chateau De Notre Dame Nursing residence. A Mass will be celebrated at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Monday, June 13, 2016. Visitation will begin at 11:00am.
