

Deloise Wilson Ross (Dee) went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. Dee was born in Liberty, Miss., to Bertha and Jesse Wilson. She is preceeded in death by her mother, Bertha Wilson, her sister, Gloria Dean Cook, her nephew, Jonathan Beasley, and her grandmother Annie Allen. She is survived by her father, Jesse Wilson; siblings, Jesse L. Wilson (Clara), Terry Wilson (Sheryl), Brenda Allen, Annie Beasley (Ray Paul), and James Wilson (Carmen); children, Jerry C. Ross, and Bridget Wilson; granddaughter Valerie Ross; godson Ray Paul Beasley Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Dee graduated from Thirty-Third Avenue High school in Gulfport, MS and attended Southern University, Xavier University, and the University of New Orleans. She remained a life long learner.
A retired hospital administrator and manager for insurance, billing, and patient support, Dee served faithfully for decades at several churches in Louisiana and Mississippi. She taught Sunday school, created and organized Christmas plays, saw the potential in everyone, gave to those in need quietly, and used her voice as an instrument of God. She will be dearly missed.
