Dorothy Louise La Bruzzo Stansbury Moise passed away at the age of 84 on May 31, 2021. She was born on May 15, 1937 in New Orleans, and spent her life devoted to making a loving home for her husband and family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Moise; her parents, Joseph and Dorothy Hartman La Bruzzo; her two brothers; and her infant daughter.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Stansbury Barsalou (Randy) and Gay Lynn Stansbury Bourque (Paul); her sons, Richard Stansbury, Jr. (Carol) and Michael Stansbury (Sujuin); her grandchildren, Kenneth Barsalou, Steven Barsalou (Whitney), Jennifer Barsalou Feist (Greg), Richelle Stansbury Wilkinson (Forest), Travis Stansbury, Brandy Bourque, and Christopher Bourque (Kacie); and her great-grandchildren, Rachel Rodrigue, Alex Feist, Olivia Feist, and Mallory McFarland; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 12 PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 10 AM. Her burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 10 AM.
