Drew Gerard Weinstein, age 66, of Metairie, Louisiana passed away peacefully in his sleep after his courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Drew was born December 19, 1954 to Carol R. Weinstein and Norman J. Weinstein, Sr..
Drew is survived by his wife, Bambi Quinn Weinstein; his daughters Casey W. Polivka (John) and Charlie Rose Weinstein; his father Norman J. Weinstein, Sr.; his brother Norman J. Weinstein, Jr.; his nieces Kimberly Weinstein and Kristin Bucchorn (Mark) and his aunt Vivien Gentry (William). He is also survived by several cousins.
Drew was preceded in death by his daughter Renee Michelle Weinstein and his mother Carol R. Weinstein.
A visitation for Drew will be held Monday, August 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, Louisiana 70124, followed by a memorial mass at 12:00 PM. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we kindly ask that all guest wear a face mask. There will be a private inurnment will be held at a later date.
