Eileen Kuebel Weber

Eileen Kuebel Weber passed away on August 9, 2017 at the age of 71 following complications from a stroke. Eileen is survived by her sons, Larry DeMarcay (Lorie), Michael DeMarcay (Tiffany) and David DeMarcay (Melissa), and her grandchildren, Parker, Lanie, Holly, Mia, Dane, Grayson and Ellie. She is also survived by her brothers, Robert Kuebel and Kenneth Kuebel (Mardel). She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Weber; her parents, Joseph and Stella Kuebel; and her siblings, Jay Kuebel, Jane Lee Bosworth, Conrad Kuebel and JoAnn Williams.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Eileen was a graduate of the Academy of the Sacred Heart and Loyola University. She spent her career working in the field of real estate development in both New Orleans and Tampa, Florida. After nearly 30 years in Tampa, Eileen returned to live in New Orleans and was having a ball reconnecting with old friends. Eileen enjoyed spending time on the water and in the mountains, but most of all she enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family. She was dearly loved by family and friends alike, and she will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
