Emile “Dan” Charles Frisard, III passed away peacefully at home on August 25th, 2025 at the age of 76. His journey on this earth was one marked by compassion, quiet strength, and an unwavering faith in God. As a devoted veterinarian, Dan dedicated his life to serving animals and the people that loved them. His gentle demeanor and steady hands brought comfort to countless families over the years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Hilda LiRocchi, and his father, Emile Frisard, Jr. Dan is survived by his beloved wife, Kim Frisard; his son, Nick Frisard, and daughter-in-law, Whitney Frisard; his cherished granddaughters, Delaney and Blaire Frisard; and his sisters, Betty Planchard and Barbara Ryals. He is also survived by his niece, Lisa Turley, and his nephews, Gary and Mark Planchard.
He will be remembered always with love and gratitude by his family, friends, clients, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124, on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. The visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time.
