In addition to being a wonderful and gifted professor, 
Dr. Lang possessed  a great sense of humor. The LSU School 
of Medicine in Shreveport was blessed to have had Dr. Lang as our teacher and our friend , and this dates to the early days of the first class of 1973. It is with great sadness that I am just now learning of his passing.  RIP Dr. Lang.

Dr. Lang was a tremendous mentor throughout his career, and his legacy will be forever linked to the Russell H. Morgan Department of Radiology and Radiological Science at Johns Hopkins.  We are grateful for his meaningful relationship and loyalty to our department.  On behalf of the Radiology faculty, residents, and fellows, please accept our heartfelt condolence during this difficult time.

Tulane Urology Residents can never forget the impact that Dr. Lang has had on their training. Talk about a man at the top of his game in interventional uroradiology in the world being always available for patient care no matter what time the of night or day of the week. His fundamental knowledge, his humility, his availability and his eagerness to teach can never be surpassed. 

This is a huge loss for all of us and replacing such talent is difficult.
