Eugenia "Jean" Cazalot

She was born in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Bonita Lutes Wright and Seldon Jasper Wright.

Beloved wife to the late William Albert Cazalot.

Mother of Rebecca C. Demetropolis (Ron), Bonnie C. Vicknair, and Susan C. Pittman.

Grandmother of Brigette V. McGoey (Kevin), and Jessica V. Johns (Warren).

Great grandmother of Colin McGoey, Connor McGoey, Bryce Johns, and Brett Johns.

She is also survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Sister of Barbara Leslie and the late Peggy W. Bernard and Charles R. Wright.

Eugenia was a graduate of Sophie B. Wright High School and spent her life as a devoted home maker. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 3267.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caring staff of Metairie Healthcare and Harmony Hospice, especially Myo Manes, for walking this journey with them.

Her funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 9 AM. Interment at Lake Lawn Park will follow the service.
