28 November, 1945 – 15 April, 2025
IN THE CARE OF

Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home & Cemeteries

Franck Ferrill LaBiche Sr., age 79, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on April 15, 2025.

(If the IRS is reading this, yes — he did file an extension….)

Born on November 28, 1945, Franck was born in New Orleans and spent most of his life in River Ridge and Happy Jack, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Ottoline LaBiche, and his brother, Marcus LaBiche Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Patricia LaBiche; his children, Angelle Stassi (Chris) and Franck LaBiche Jr. (Jan); his cherished grandchildren, Christopher Stassi Jr., Patrick Stassi, and Lilly LaBiche; and his sister, Marlene Breaux (Mack).

Franck attended Ridgewood High School and The Marion Military Institute. He worked in the family business, LaBiche’s Clothing, until 1977. He started a new career at Executone Systems Co. of Louisiana, where he was known as the “Golden Boy”. He became the leading salesman and, in 1984, purchased the company. For over 40 years, he fostered a family-centered work environment and supported countless employees. The business continues to thrive today, a testament to his dedication and leadership.

Franck found peace in Happy Jack, Louisiana, where he was a devoted fisherman and a friend to all. He had a gift for making people feel like old friends, and anyone who met him loved him. His favorite way to end a day of fishing was with a cold beer and good conversation with his neighbors along the Happy Jack canal.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will announce a celebration of Frank’s life in the upcoming days.
