He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris M. Brown (2002); and his sons, Gary Brown (1988) and Craig Brown (2010).
He is survived by his son, Mark Brown (Lisa); his daughter Cheryl Montgomery; grandchildren, Erica Brown Retif (John), Stephen Brown, Michael and Robert Norris (Charlene); and great-grandchildren, Hunter Retif and Casey, Jason, Kenny and Katie Norris.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Metairie Cemetery.
