He was a native of New Orleans and resident of Mandeville. After High School, Gregory attended college and became a police officer, but most recently he was a security guard.
Gregory was preceded in death by his brother, Kirk Duncan. He is survived by his loving parents, Sylvia and John Duncan; his sister, Stacy Cook; and niece and nephew, Kaitlyn Cook and Cody Cook. Gregory cherished spending time with his family, especially his parents.
He had a passion for riding motorcycles and traveling. Gregory enjoyed reviewing restaurants and hotels on his blog, sharing his experiences with others. He was an active member of the Church of the King, where he found community and solace.
The family would like to give special thanks to Pastor Mike at Church of the King. In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred to the church of your choice.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service held at Lake Lawn Park, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 1pm.
