Jacob Kottle

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Freida Kottle. He is survived by his longtime partner, Pat Higginbotham, her daughter, Ann Jerome (Brad), and grandchildren, Griffin Harwood and Brandon Jerome. He is also survived by his sister, Hannah Tischansky (Kenneth), niece and nephew, Pamela Tischansky Griffin (Charley Griffin) and Gary David Tischansky, great-niece and nephews, Charlee Griffin, Ryder Tischansky, and Graysen Tischansky, as well as many cousins and friends.

Jake graduated from Byrd High School in Shreveport, LA, attended the University of Houston, and worked at Delta Airlines in New Orleans for over thirty years. He was an avid Saints fan, loved golf, and horse racing. He will be missed for his kind heart, great laugh, and his giving nature.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Chevra Thilim Memorial Park.
