Jacqueline M. Lehr on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Age 90 years. Daughter of the late Joseph Lawlis Montero, Sr. and Alma Ballay Montero. Wife of the late Louis Lehr, Sr. Mother of Louis, Jr., Gary Lehr and Karen Lehr Lawley. Grandmother of Amy S. Bridges, Lauren S. Burkheiser, Derrick L. Stevens and Jason J. Lehr. Great grandmother of John Todd Bridges, Daniel Bridges, Anne-Marie Bridges, Michael Thomas Burkheiser, Adalene Burkheiser and Mason Stevens. Mother-in-law of Rita and Gaye Lehr and Richard Lawley. Sister of the late Joseph Lawlis Montero, Jr. and Mildred Montero Rojas. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and her caretaker and dear friend Connie Barney. The family would like to express their appreciation to Shavon Nichols and the management and staff of Community Care Hospice, ComForcare Senior Services, Affordable Angels and New Life Home Care. Jacqueline was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and graduated from Eleanor McMain High School. She was a Parishioner of St. Cletus Catholic Church in Gretna and a member of the Gretna Homemakers Club.
