Jeanne Ayres Adams, 84 years young, went home to her savior on November 9, 2015. She was preceded in passing by her loving husband, Wilfred W. Adams, Sr.; her parents, James William Ayres and Josephine Cummings Ayres and her grandson, Timothy W. Adams.
A resident of Metairie, Louisiana for 65 years, Jeanne is survived by her much loved and adored sister, June Leblanc; her sons, Wilfred W. Adams, Jr. (Grace) and Barry R. Adams (Stephanie) as well as her granddaughters, Bonnie Adams Schneider (William) and Korin M. Adams. She was great-grandmother to Brooklyn, Jackson, Wren and Rowyn Schneider.
Everyone was welcomed into her home with loving arms, a bright smile and lots of laughter. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know and love her.
A celebration of her life will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 12:00 noon. A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Jeanne wished for everyone to love and be kind to each other.
