JO ANN RETIF PACKARD “AUNT JOJO”, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the age of 72. Beloved mother of Karen Simoneaux (Keith), Lara Lovas (Ryan), Kristin Hebert (Matthew), and Heather Schieffler (Dennis). Daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Mary Retif. Adored by her grandchildren, Andrew, Nicholas, Tyler, Amanda, Evan, Hannah, Jacob and her two great grandchildren, Jaxen and Marina. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Rosemary Datri (the late Joseph Datri), Mary McCabe (Ron), and Kate Mascari (Walter), her former husband, Kenneth Packard and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Packard worked for McKenzie’s Bakery and retired from A&P Grocery after many years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the graveside services in Greenwood Cemetery, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11:30am.
