John Joseph Bayham, Jr., a current resident of Pontchatoula and a long-time resident of Arabi, LA and Empire, LA, passed away on Sunday, Sept 28, 2014 at the age of 90. He was born on Feb 27, 1924 in Plaquemines Parish. During World War II, Johnny served in the Philippines with the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine, his mother and father, and a brother. John is survived by a brother, sister, twin sons, a daughter, 6 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
Family and friends can visit on Thursday, October 2, 2014 during the 9-11am wake at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Catholic Mass will follow at 11:00 then internment at St Roch Cemetery #2, New Orleans, LA.
