Mr. Vitale was a native of New Orleans, La and a resident of Folsom, LA., He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Rogers Vitale for 60 years, father of; Mary V. (Patrick) Fink of Ponchatoula, LA, Joseph A. (Gail) Vitale III of Folsom , La, Trena (Barbara) Vitale of Folsom, LA, brother of ; Dolores Diecidue, Sarah Whalen, Brother-in-law Ronald Rogers Sr., the late Russell Vitale, Mary Vitale, Mary Ann Couch, the son of the Late Joseph and Mary Vitale, Grandfather of; Elizabeth Vitale, Nicole Cormier, Joseph A. Vitale IV, Jessica Stash, Patrick Fink, Daniel Fink, Joshua Fink, Christina Vitale, five Great-Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday April 24, 2015 from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA. Services will be held on Saturday April 25, 2015 at 10 am with a visitation one hour prior at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, with the interment to follow at Lake Lawn Park.
