Justin Colter Stilling

Justin Colter Stilling was born 8-25-1982 in Washington DC and died 12-20-2016 in Baton Rouge LA. He died too soon at 34 years old. Justin was an Old Metairie resident. He was the son of Mark Stilling and the late Kim Durkee. Justin was college educated at Delgado and the University of New Orleans. He was a brilliant and dedicated personal trainer for many years. He had recently been promoted to General Manager at a well-respected fitness center in Baton Rouge due to his dedication to his clients and personal excellence. Justin was the beloved grandson of his Gram, the late Carolyn Decidoncha Lee and of his late Grandpa, Captain Richard Durkee and of his grandfather Neils Christian Stilling (Cathy Munster). He will always be deeply loved by his father Mark Stilling and his sister Megan Stilling. He was loved like a son by his Aunt Rebecca Stilling and will always be loved by she and Aunt Jean Reeves. Justin was loved and will be missed by Uncle Erik and Aunt Dawn Stilling with cousin Rosie Stilling as well as Alyssa and Ian Gaudet. Justin loved and was loved by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles of the D’Aquilla family and many other family members of heart and blood in Louisiana. Justin dearly loved and was loved by his two sisters in Maryland area, Samantha Victoria DiForte, and Aviendha Jazmine Goodrich. He is mourned by dear, special friends who meant the world to him. He will always be remembered as the brilliant, driven, impish and kind man he was. Private services will be held at a later date.
