Hi Eileen, I saw the notice about Lauren and my heart just sank for you.  This is Cindy, Shelly's mom, and we lived across the street from you for years.  I just want you to know that my heart aches for you and your family.  I lost Shelly 8 years ago, she was 32.  Burying your baby is the worst thing a parent will ever have to do.  Lauren grew up to be a beautiful woman. She looks just like you.  I will keep you in my prayers, time does ease the pain somewhat, but the emptiness is always there. May God give peace.

Jackie and Eileen our hearts feel your pain. Just know she has given a gift very few people are willing to give. Because of her gift another family will know the true meaning of love and a part of Lauren will live on.Our prayers are with the both of you.

Lauren was such a beautiful child and I see she turned out to be an even more beautiful adult.  My prayers and thoughts are with the Brocato family. Lauren will always be a part of my St. Philip family.

I first met Lauren at MSAH about 10 yrs ago when our dog Rusty was sick and she would help give him his shots every 2 weeks. We became great friends and she even became friends with our son Jude when he was 5 yrs old (your student now) and would talk about Brother Martin and how Lauren hoped Jude would get you as a teacher and he did. Both of you are a blessing in our lives!!!

I met Lauren while she was working at the Lamplighter.  She always lit up the dark bar.  She was one of the nicest people.   I live in Colorado now but went home in January for a couple of days.   I am glad I got to see her and get a big hug from her.  I will cherish the time we spent together on Monday and Tuesday nights.   You will be extremely missed.
