Leon was a proud graduate of Jesuit High School (Class of 1975). He went on to earn his dental degree from the LSU School of Dentistry (Class of 1983), beginning a lifelong career dedicated to caring for others.
Dr. Leon Flettrich III practiced dentistry with professionalism, compassion, and integrity, building lasting relationships with his patients and community. Through his dental practice, he met the love of his life, his wife, Ellena. He was also exceptionally proud to see his daughter, Lauren Flettrich, graduate with her Doctor in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and work as a pediatric nurse practitioner.
Leon is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Ellena Flettrich; his son, Leon Flettrich IV; his daughter, Lauren Flettrich; and his sister, Dawn Flettrich Rolfes (David). He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Flettrich, Jr.; his mother, Joanne Flettrich; and his brother, Kirk Flettrich.
