Leon “Lee” Hampton, resident of Gonzales, Louisiana peacefully passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 84. He was a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, godfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Leon was born in Jonesville, North Carolina on August 21, 1940 and was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He served in the United States Army for 20 years until retirement. While in the Army, he studied at Orange Coast College and earned a degree in Information Systems. Lee was the president and CEO of Ultimate Solutions Incorporated from 1999 to the present. He loved playing racquetball and golf. He also enjoyed watching the New Orleans Pelicans basketball team and New Orleans Saints football team. Lee leaves to cherish his wife, children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held September 7, 2024, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation hours are 12 pm – 2 pm, service will follow.
