Beloved wife of Morris W. Newman, who preceded her in death. She is survived by two
loving children, daughter, Lee Newman Myers of Mobile, Alabama, and son, Bruce C. Newman and
his wife, Erin Tallon-Newman, of Covington, and four grandchildren, Jessica Lee Wormser, Harry
Edwards Myers IV, Caroline Noland and William Noland.
Mrs. Newman was born in Denver, Colorado. She has lived in Metairie for the past 70 years.
She was a member of St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home
on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will
follow in Metairie Cemetery.
