Margaret LaVerne Myers

Margaret LaVerne Carlisle Myers passed away on November 17, 2024, at 95 years of age. She was born in Hazelhurst, MS on July 23, 1929.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Clifford L. Myers; parents, Sam and Ruby Carlisle; sister, Wanda Carlisle Benton; and brother, Alton Glen Carlisle, Sr.
LaVerne is survived by her daughter, Teresa Myers Kelly (Daniel); sons, Clifford A. Myers (Rhonda) and Paul C. Myers (Lauren); grandchildren, Christopher Michael Myers (Paula), Grayson Patrick Myers, and Christian Paul Myers; and great-granddaughter, Sydnee Beauchamp Towning (David).
Her most cherished role in life was being a grandmother to her three grandsons.
The family would like to give special thanks to St. Tammany Hospice, Flora Holmes, Sara Raley, Jane Caire, and Sandy Reed.
The service will be private.
