Marie Louise Kalil

Marie Louise Kalil, age 96, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 13, 1921 to the late Marie Louise Thorn and Jules Pierre Dumestre. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, George Kalil and her siblings, Irene Lacy Brown and Milton Lacy.

Marie is survived by her daughters, Jeanie Koenemann (the late, Lynn), Cindy Wedig (Rick) and Mary Lou Kalil; her son, David Kalil (Susan); her 12 grandchildren, Stacy, Steven, Shelley, Kris, Kellin, Kim, Kathryn, Kayley, Kristin, Kyle, Kimberly and Krista; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass held in the chapel at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124 on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be private.
