There is now an empty space within me as a result of Marilyn's death. Family ties are strong and even stronger are those of us still here that shared spirit, mind and body with her and her family. My condolences to the entire family. You are in out thoughts!

I am so sad to learn of Lyn's passing. Her genuine kindness was her calling card, and her infectious laugh is seared into my memory. I know you will miss her terribly. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Lyn and I worked together at both Baptist and Ochsner Hospital. She was always incredibly kind and patient. She had the loveliest, soft spoken, voice and was always encouraging. She was not only a compassionate caring nurse , but a wonderfully supportive, helpful coworker. I am so sorry to hear about her passing. 

To Lynn’s family, 
I was blessed to work as Mother-Baby Nurses, at Memorial Baptist Hospital, with Lynn for 2+ years! Her unique qualities struck me and to this day I will never forget her. She was a compassionate woman, sharing her knowledge, with humbleness and such kindness! Such a beautiful spirit, who will be missed immensely❤️

I worked with Lyn at Baptist. I was new to New Orleans and she taught me so much about the city I grew to love. She also helped take care of my first born and will forever be a part of special memories there at Baptist. Prayers for her family 

I’m so sad to hear of Lyn’s death! She was a volunteer nurse at Woman’s New Life Center during the years I worked as a counselor there, and was a complete joy and delight to be around. (She shared about her sailing adventures with me frequently, and I was always so impressed by her love for both sailing and her husband.) Lyn was so incredibly kind and caring to all the women who she happened to encounter during our time working together. I know that she will rest in the peace of Christ, and I pray that her family finds peace as well. Pray for us Lyn! 💛

Lyn will be missed by many.  I worked with her at Baptist.  I recall her enthusiasm with helping new mothers, her faith and more than anything - her love of family.  I am sorry to her of her passing.

Lyn was one of the sweetest southern ladies I have ever known. I had the privilege to work with her for nearly 13 years and she cared for me with my last baby. She taught me about caring for babies and encouraged me as a woman of prayer.  I will miss her greatly and my prayers are with her family and friends. 

It was a great privilege to work with her for so many years. Her soft voice and touch helped many mothers and babies. She is missed and loved.

I had the privilege of working with Lyn for many years at Baptist Hospital. I admired her so much, not only because she was an awesome nurse, but because she was a person of such integrity and also so devoted to her family.  My deepest sympathy to the family.

I was very saddened to hear of Lyn’s passing. I worked with her for a few years, as well as had the privilege of being a patient under her care when I welcomed my firstborn at Ochsner Baptist. She had a loving and calm spirit that was evident to all. She will be missed. May she Rest In Peace.

So many memories. Such a great friend.  Sharing an apartment, Navarre Beach, studying for exams in Cancun, fun in London, dancing at AT's...so many fun times.
