Beloved wife of the late Hugh J. Farnet, Jr. Mother of Hugues J. “Pete” Farnet III, Leslie Farnet Price (Johnny), Chris Marie Farnet, and Jeanne Farnet Paisant (Johnny); grandchildren Jenna Price Rice (Brent), Justin Edward Price, Anthony John LaGuardia Jr. (Brittani), Kallie Lynn Collins, John E. Paisant III, and Cecilia Grace Paisant; great-grandchildren Abigail Rice, Lucy Rice and Mia LaGuardia; siblings Dr. Clarence “Benny” Parent, Jr. (Loretta), Kay Parent Berrigan (Jim), Carole Cheramie as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Clarence Bernard Parent Sr. and Harriet Mader Parent; step-daughter of the late Bertha Cau Parent; sister of the late Marilyn Farnet and Jackie Farnet.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 12:00pm.
Visitation from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
