Michael M. Maunoir, age 79, died at his home in Hahnville, Louisiana on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Michael is survived by his beloved wife of two years, Teresa “Teri” Orlando; two sons, Michael Yenni (Michelle) and Bradley Maunoir (Celeste); a sister, Julie O. Maunoir; grandchildren, Reagan, Madison, and McKinley Yenni, and Cole and Eli Maunoir; nephews, Matthew Rodgers (Alison) and Shawn Rodgers (Laura); and niece, Elissa Marie (Justin). He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Sylvia Maunoir.
Michael was born in New Orleans on November 30, 1943. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed a thirty plus year career in law enforcement, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police in New Orleans.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11:00AM. The visitation will begin at 9:30AM. The interment at Lake Lawn Park will be private.
