Muriel was born in New Orleans on September 23, 1928. She was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, where she was also an active member of their Rosary Altar Society.
Muriel loved spending time with and taking care of her family by creating a warm and inviting home with wonderful meals and playing cards with her friends and grandchildren. She enjoyed reminiscing of her childhood on Camp Street and attending St. Stephen Catholic School and Church.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Monty Glorioso for his wonderful care; Muriel’s care-givers (Annie, Sheila, Juanita, Dimple, Monica, and Bae), who took such good care of her for the last five years; and Donna Hummel (St. Catherine of Siena Rosary Altar Society) for her continuous spiritual support.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church Forward in Faith Capital Campaign, https://scschurch.com/forward or to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, https://alzfdn.org/donate
