Today I was going down  Memory lane and my years in New Orleans and remembered Dr . Angelica who was my first Doctor , so I decided to google him and read that he had passed away . I shed so many tears . He was a great Doctor ,to me and my kids . My condolences to his family and staff . Rest In Peace Dr .Nicolas Angelica you were the Best.

I’m crying right now! I had no idea that my beloved Dr. Nick is now in Heaven.  I was his oldest youngest patient, proud of it.  He was my doctor since I was 22 and I am now 58.   Sharon and I have been together as loving nurse and pain in the butt patient.  Dr. Nick took care of my momma and my son too.  I am presently in MDAnderson. My prayers go out to his lovely family! Stacey, he loved that daughter of yours so much sweetie.  May God Bless you alll,

Thoughts and prayers for family, friends, and coworkers. My family and I were blessed to become his patients after Hurricane Katrina and he took excellent care of us. No matter what illness or problem you had he would always take the time and patience to explain the problem  and cure to you. He was a good man, great doctor , and one of a kind. He will be missed by my family. GOD BLESS AND RIP.

Doc received many accolades from both patients and peers throughout his medical career. His bedside manner was supreme; his concern for his patients was deep and caring; his practice management was outstanding; and, so on . . ..
But, to really find his true character, you had to play golf with him.
He never wore his starched doctor’s coat on the golf course.  He was just “one of us” trying to enjoy the game and his friends.  
He discovered early in his golfing career that there are times when even the best of players really don’t know what to do.  
And, as a small part of his golfing group, we all learned that the world is full of doctors, but true friends are really rare.   
Doc possessed a dedication to the endless pursuit of the perfect game of golf.  He’d practice, and practice, and practice.  He knew he’d never find perfection, but he would always try and by holding fond memories of the challenges of the greens, the trials of its traps, the pars and birdies he’d made.  
And now, his last putt has dropped into the cup of human life.  And we, his friends. will hold fond memories of him.  
We ask of the Lord, please allow him to be on Your fairways of glory so that his game can continue to be played.  He will strive for and may even become Your newest “Club Champion.”

Paul I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. My sincere condolences go out to you. 

I worked with Dr. Angelica for many years at Mercy Hospital of New Orleans. He was well respected and professional. Sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family. He was a true gentleman!

Thank you, Dr. Angelica for always taking such good care of our family.  May the angels lead you into paradise and may you have eternal rest. You will be missed. My deepest sympathies to Marguerite, Sharon and the family.

Paul, I'm sorry for your loss and my deepest condolences go out to you and your family during this time. I know you had a tremendous amount of respect and love for your dad. Everytime you spoke of him, I can tell how proud you was and I saw it even more when you were with him. Thank you for all the wonderful memories you gave us.  We will cherish them through the many pictures you took.  Now you are in Heaven with your parents & mama.  One day we will reunite with both of you but until then, rest in peace Doc. You will be sadly missed but not forgotten.
